 How did the Navy contract for Signal Corps gear anyway? Was it through the
Signal Corps or direct with the contractor?

Think we are getting into the motivation for the JAN system.

I'm not sure of the logistic or contractual method but In a list of Naval
WWII radio gear I have there is a whole chapter on Signal Corps gear used by
the Navy.
