While searching  around today i saw a manual for the "XNQ" aircraft. 
This was a pre T-28 tail dragger.  Don't know what the vintage of it is 
other than i know they flew in SEA.  Maybe in Korea also, don't know. 
But the point is, the radio bay had a pair of black command set 
receivers and one black transmitter along with a black modulator but the 
BC-442 was aluminum which makes me think they must have been of the 
BC-XXX variety.  Since  i don't have the manual per se, i don't know 
which brand radio they were.  The Navy flew T-28's as did the AIr Force. 
  To bad we gave so many of them away as they are one hell of an 
airplane!  And, fun to fly.

Just some ratty info.  I've got a picture of the installation but have 
no way to scan it into any kind of transmittable format.
