Well, yes and no.....
Acquired a TBW a while ago, HF, MF and mod/PS in the original chests. Had
obviously been out in the WX for a while and upon opening found the mod/PS in
perfect, NOS condition but the two transmitters were corroded to junk.
Problem was that the front covers for the transmitter chests look exactly the same
but are not, and if switched around do seat properly to seal up the boxes.
So, the chests can provide great protection but are also great for holding water
forever after the rain stops.
