This was the 6VDC MP Galvin/Moto 30-50 cop 2-way.  I think.
Nude (uncabinetted) TX looks like was built in carpenter's tray if
I remember.

Looks VRC-19 was 1st hi-band 152-174 but 24vdc

Well I've got a RCA hi-band "FM Receiver" here.  6V vibrapack.  Big.
Called MI-7685... come in Will D.  All tubes octal save 6AK5s & 6AG5s.
Dated 617, hence 17th week 1946.  So tho Sarnoff hated Armstrong's
FM, the 2-way handwriting was on the wall.  Moolah 1st, ideology next.

Wonder if GI version was VRC-19

Had to buy the thing (& under-dash ctl & AN Cannon connector!) for
the big RCA meatball & the big words "FM Receiver"
