[Milsurplus] Worth Watching...

I've been gone for a few days enjoying some time away from the lists
and job (although I still worked plenty at home) but wanted to say
thanks Ed for posting this link. I enjoyed it and appreciate you
sharing it as well. Some things never change, though. Leave it to
comrade Richards to take a benign link and turn it into an opportunity
for political spin.

On July 4th the local library had its annual book sale and I was able
to score some excellent military books, some as recent as 2002. In
particular I got a stack of 'World War II' magazines from the 70s with
special editions about naval warfare, the Battle of Britain, and
others I've yet to look over. I'd like to hear from others who are
more familiar with this series of publications. They contain a lot of
good information, diagrams, and pictures. Almost like an early version
of those Time/Life books.

Hope others had an enjoyable holiday and (if applicable) took time to
be thankful we live in the best nation on earth, thanks to our members
of the military and their families, our strong business community, and
the unwavering leadership of our president. Good Americans can always
be counted on to defend and strengthen their country, even in the face
of those would would dismantle and destroy it. Just as true today as
it was 230 years ago.

God Bless America.
