You may notice they all ran modulators A or AB1.  So 
no current swing on voice peaks.

Yes and that goes for the 811s in ATCs/ART-13s and I've never
seen a conversion/hack art'l where driver goosed to take
811s near class B when 813 humped up to 300W.  Just
complaints about insufficient mod. xrmr... which hasn't
enuf iron for 150w under, say, 800hz.

If there were voice-peak current swings, dynamotors would go nuts.

So i double-damn-doubt running modulation percentage up wud
lead to FM-ing
