Well, yes.   One would have to be pretty brutal with a 375 to get that much 
deviation though.   Crossing the zero baseline is good for some carrier wobble. 
 A poorly regulated PS would contribute too, but the dynamotors are quite 
good in that respect.   After doing the neutralizing adjustment trick, find I can 
modulate my 375 100% with negligible FMing, even with my home brew PS which 
is not well regulated.   Neutralizing trick worked FB with Ft. MacArthur's 
BC-223 too.

Believe most WW2 rigs can take up to 100% OK.
