The continuity was a bit off. The second time he emerges from the house
the "Go Navy" sign is not in the window. It returns on the next shot
where the flag goes up again.

The third time he emerges, again the sign is missing. Looks like those
shots were done one after another without considering the sign
placement. This continues until it's finally corrected.

On the subject of the film, tomorrow is July 4, which is US Independence
Day, a celebration of America's founding.

America was born through the courageous act whereby the founders of this
nation stripped themselves of tyranny by violent revolt. So began an
"experiment" as it is sometimes called, one in human freedom and dignity
based on collective values lived out in our Constitution and Bill of
Rights. Our revolution is one clear case where protest and war led to
something constructive.

Tomorrow is not Veteran's day, but worthy to remember that in several
instances in our short national history were it not for courageous and
selfless men and women answering the unequivocal call of their nation,
the remaining freedoms we enjoy might now be memories, erased from the
national textbooks.

Back then, Americans knew when it is time to answer the call. Now, they
know when they've been snookered.

Woe be unto those who waste the heart of our nation on lies; who deceive
our people; who fail to hold the foundations of America sacred; and who
ultimately desecrate the sacrifices of those so well represented by the
depictions of this film. They will answer not just to us, but to the
unyielding spirit of Liberty on which our nation will always stand and
to the souls of those who stepped into the breach to keep us free.

I consider this holiday a time to reflect on the principles upon which
America was founded, to consider just how far down the hole we've gone,
to appreciate what remains, and to hope that, collectively, we can save her.
