Dennis, why this about the supply??? I don't get it. Lack of regulation ??

Also, altho the bandspread is probably alright thru 40m, i kinda don't get
how the designers expected it to be stable enuff - both mechanically and
electrical - on the top band, to be usable for TTY there. 8-16 MHz in one
swath is pushing it, but 16 - 32 Mhz in one band, sounds like Hallicrafters.
