I just received 2 manuals:
#1 "Reference Data for Field Radio Communications Equipment", school text
SIG 660-63
dated November, 1953
and
#2 "Shipboard Electronic Equipments" NAVPERS 10794-C dated 1969.
Basically they are books of equipment and systems specs.
#1 includes BC-312/342, AN/GRR-5, SCR-508AN/GRC-9, SCR-193 (BC-191 tx &
BC-312 rec) AN/GRC-19, SCR-399 (BC-610 tx & BC-312 rec), AN/GRC-38 (BC-610-I
tx & R-274D rec) AN/MRC-2 (BC-610 tx & OA-65/MRC-2 rec), AN/GRC-26 (BC-610
tx & R336/GRC-26 rec's), AN/GRC-26A (BC-610 tx & R-388 rec's), FM sets
SCR-508, SCR-619, AN/GRC-3 and others. has pix and diagrams if anyone wants
to authenticate a system or unit.
#2 (1969) mentions the RBA and TCS as being obsolete but still in use.
Also briefly discusses the AN/SRT-14-15-16, AN/WRT-1A, AN/SCR-23, AN/WRC-1,
AN/URT-23, SCR-536, R-390 and many others, including Loran and RADAR. Many
pix, diagrams and explanations.
Any one needing info I will try to help.
Thanx
