Yes, strange title, but maybe not as OT as some posts.
I have this chair, i'm calling a "Greenkeys" ( that is,
teletype ) chair. I call it that because i have, somewhere,
a Teletype Corporation baseball-card sized card with a
photo of a gal, looking 1940s-50s, sitting on it operating
a big teletype machine ( 19? 28? ). This is a low back
chair with 4 casters on legs that look faired. Probably
1940s idea of modern. I think i maybe also saw this
chair in a photo inside a radio truck compartment, one
that used BC-342s and TTY machines.
Anyway, this chair is in storage near Albany, OR and
will need a new home. The actual seat part i took off
because the upholstery had a slash on it. I need to find
that part. It would be best, assuming someone actually
wants this, if i could simply hand it off, for some low
nominal charge. Possibly i could ship it, altho i'd want
some compensation also for my time.
