It should be noted that there were no "standard setups" for the US Navy
during World War 2. Most all ships and subs were unique, based on what the
Navy could get their hands on at the time, amongst other things.
While most subs had RAK/RAL, it would not be a huge shock to me if a few
had RBAs, RBSs, DQs, or even some of the older sets like RAG and RO.
