USS LST325 has a set mounted on LOP#1, and used the RAL extensively on the
recent Atlantic trip and subsequent river trip to Evansville, IN. Liked it
better than the RBC(LOP #2), even with all the manual tuning
required... (paired with the TDE)
Otherwise, any WW2 fleet sub memorial with an active radio room will have
two pairs RAK/RAL, typically. (Hopefully the volunteers have re-activated
the big regens)
On the home scene, I can also say, with Ed, that I have a pair, although
not quite yet mounted on my own LOP!
