Hi All,

Been following the postings about the "ghost fleets" with interest. It's 
also a real problem over here, as some of your fleet has found its way to 
shipbreakers on the River Tees in NE England, much to the dismay of the

A recent BBC TV documentary focused on the presence of PCBs on board in 
electrical parts and also on asbestos lagging around steam pipes in the 
engine room, etc. There were some good walk-around shots in the programme 
but nothing on the radio rooms, wonder if the radios have been trashed on 
these ships too?
