And just to throw a bit more potatoes in the stew,
Signal Corps documents in my collection
( 66-MP-6 T/E 24 April 1943 ),
while they do not address anti-aircraft batteries,
say Division Artillery (including all battalions)
was supposed to be issued the following radios:

(3) SCR-284 ("auth. substitute SCR-288")
(2) SCR-608
(15) SCR-610
(1) SCR-628

Five SCR-193 were supposed to stay with the Division's Signal Corps unit,
ten with the "Cav. Recon" unit and four with the Engineer battalion.
Many other kinds are on the list, but
SCR-543 doesn't show up at all.
It lists "Cannon Company" as having six SCR-536s.
Hope they weren't far apart ;-).

Now, were these radio so issued to the typical infantry division?
I wouldn't bet on it. I'd bet by the time that
division got into action, the fellow who wrote this document
would probably blanch at what was actually used ;-).

HNY, Ya'll.
