[Milsurplus] Trucks with SCR-268, 584

Maybe early SCR-543-A.  Later models had steel handles and the antenna, when 
mounted to the operating chest, was on the left.  But the set would make sense 
for a gun battery as it had its own generator, could be crystal controlled, 
was Voice only, had a remote control generic to it, could be set up to support 
its own antenna, could be moved in most anything, and didn't tie up a vehicle 
when set up.  And possibly the memory of the antenna on the right was 
incorrect.
