Hank!!! That was my box and look you ruined my licence. Hey look down on
the lower shelf, Malt'o Meal, has one at a lower price, hmmm... made in
TiChiKorapan. Can I use it here in the US? Also I know a few extras I
wouldn't trust with a pair of scissors, well OK perhaps the ones with the
rounded tips my Son uses in preschool. When the grumpy old men go
slumming above 50 Mhz do I ignore them because they are not familiar with
repeater operation? Heck no! Nothing cracks me up more than when they
start up an old buzzard transmission and get confused by the time out
timer! There is loads I can learn from them and hey I can show them how
to pick up an unwanted commercial radio for $25-$50 and with the use of an
electronic slide rule with input/output adaptor, get them a working set on
900MHz where they can abuse more time out timers. I better stop as I think
I've made this rant before. Blame it on Hank he got me started! Oh and I
promise not to load the Valiant up on 11 meters for anything other than
service work under the penalty of loss of all my saved boxtops!
