Funny thing is I remembered "King" right away, but thought again, so
googled it. Full name was "Yukon King" and his horse was "Rex". There
were 78 episodes and they were repeated into the 60's. You can order a
DVD with 10 of 'em for $21. Ain't the Internet wonderful?
But I was actually right the first time -- there was his famous line as
he was doing his dog sled thing "On King! On you huskies!" -- more
impressive than "mush", I suppose.
Oh well ... 'nuff OT nostalgia for now. No telling where things will go
after a ham-ticket-in-cereal-box post ;-)
