Well, not really.Most of the technologies from World War 2 are dead or
near death. Digital and solid state is where it is at. Look at even a
modern broadcast transmitter - there is almost nothing a 1940s
engineer would even start to recognize.

The ironic thing is that every engineer worth his salt back in the
1960s would kill a man for a few seconds of processor time...
