However they pack them, I believe their intent
is to cause you to buy new lights each year to
avoid going insane trying to rebox them.
Talk about planned obsolescence!!!

Subject: [Milsurplus] Mini Light Bulb Question
Date: Tue, 5 Dec 2006 11:06:12 -0500
I've just purchased the 400 count Mini Light Indoor Outdoor set, stock number
66-377C from Wal-Mart's for a bargain price of $8.70. My mission is to
decorate one each tree as per the "Commander In Chief's" orders.
The lights were packed in a 9X6X3 inch box. After unpacking and
accomplishing the tree decorating I began to wonder about repacking the
lights back in the box through the small opening in the top of the box
after the Christmas season is over. It appears to be a seemingly hopeless
task.
My question is do the Chinese receive special training for packing the 400
mini lights in these boxes or perhaps the box is assembled around the
lights? Or should I get a larger box?
