Hi All,
I will have the same problem as to what paint to use when I refinish the
front panel of the Russian US-9 receiver that followed me home from Dubai.
It has a solid state supply in place of the dynamotor (original) and they
replaced the 6F7 with a subminiature. It also has a reduction drive for
tuning similar to the one on my RPS. This one was made in 1976, and was in
service until at least 2001. All modern (1976 style) components. Will see
about posting some pictures on the royal signals site.

Subject: [Milsurplus] BC-348 Finish - Paint question
Group -
1. What paint brand suggested to get the same nice wrinkle tex finish?
Paint Primer suggested for aluminum? Primer color - flat black, clear?
Any application methods?
2. Method to keep paint off, sticking to, the raised letters?
Thanks
Hutch
