[Milsurplus] ARC-39?

Remember seeing this a lot through the 80's in the Fair Radio  
catalog, but never heard a lot about them otherwise.   Other than  
being a low power AM voice crystal transmitter/receiver, any more  
info floating around?

Just curious, and I'd not actually seen one compared to the hundreds  
of other things out there.

Is this now a $uper expensive collectors item now?? heehee
