Perry,
That's true but in the case of the wasted day, I didn't have the receiver
plugged into the PP-380 with the remote attached, but was using an audio level
unit plugged into the jack on the receiver. Maybe I was also smoke testing a
spare power supply?? Can't recall. Normally (at least these days) I unplug the
in-service unit from the main PP-380 and hook the unit under test into the
"system" with a spare cable.
