The docs I have on the BC-400 series (up to the G model) show that
they did not use a TU-75. BC-400s did use 815s, however.

TU-75 tunes from 53 to 95 MHz, and replaces TU-69 and TU-70, with
their smaller frequency ranges. This also from paper docs (and me
opening up a BC-1158-C, and noticing that the tuning unit has TU-69
crossed off the metal and TU-75 reengraved).
