Has anyone seen one?

Hint: three 815s & used in glide bomb tx called BC-1158... along with
another 815
        plate modulator

Have hunch TU-75 meant 75mcs Transmitting Unit. Not 'tuning unit.'

Now 75 mcs is home base for marker beacons. But which marker beacon tx??

TU-75 nearby dated Mar. 45

Lot were surplussed around Dayton, OH about 1960. Probably released from
Wright
Air developement & Research.

Cud run 50W or so on 6m w/o hamificulatory atrocities. I ran one for 2-3
months as
W8VFX.

Reason for curiosity is sooooo many 815s turned up in surplus. I know the
following
applicable hideouts

   BC-950 T32/ARC-5 predecessor (1 there? )
BC-463 Target Drone RC tx. Hiide your Ryan Firebees ladies. (2 there)
   BC-924 xtal-saver Zenith FM tx (1 used)

??BC-400?? 75mcs marker beacon tx - have never seen hide nor hair of such.

But if the BC-400 or it's successor DID NOT use a TU-75, there's sure some
splainin' to
do about all that surplus.

Hey Clete. This sounds like a question for the real you!
