Yes, and not necessarily, if one is familiar with the Collins way of doing things. Many ARC-58/TRC-75 boxes will have major corrosion, due to outdoor storage after they were surplused. Try to fin LRU's that are in good physical shape, and get the complete manuals. Making sure the mechanics of the tuner, PA and antenna coupler are lubricated and clean are probably the most important things to remember. N7EPI has much experience with the TRC-75, he may be able to better answer specific questions. Also keep in mind this radio is similar to the KWT-6 and URC-32 and share many modules and parts.
