I used to have a TRC-75 and know someone who has a working TRC-75
The basic components are the same as the ARC-58 but the TRC-75 is mounted in
a large green OD case. It requires 115v 400Hz 3 phase it tunes in 1khz steps
They are a hybrid radio with tubes and germanium transistors and some
silicon it requires special test fixtures. From memory there are at least 4
test sets, the receiver is very sensitive 1Kw o/p using 3 4cx250
Modes. AM, SSB, DSB, USB, LSB, and CW you need a good power supply the
Solid state inverter power requirements is 27.5v @ 150A It requires a lot of
work. My friend had a fire in the PA stage and had to rebuild it.
But once it set up properly then its solid as rock. I hope this helps.

Speaking of the TRC-77A, I wonder, has anyone ever
had a TRC-75 on the air? Are they difficult to
maintain?
