Hello-
I would like to try and identify an IF unit of which I have the parts out of. Possibly if I can ID it then I may be able to get information to help me use the parts in a project. The IF unit was all solid state { early solid state} and from the parts I know this :
        1. Incoming signal { either 2 or 3 Mhz, can't tell} went to a mixer and beated against 2.5 Mhz. xtal osc. to produce a 500 Khz. IF.
        2. There were a set of 3 crystal filters { .3, 1.2, 2.3 Khz} switch selected at 500 Khz. IF freq.
        3. The 500 Khz. IF signal from filters went to a mixer and beated against a 675 Khz. osc. to produce a 175 Khz. IF freq. This 175 Khz. IF was split into 3 independent channels.
        4. Each 175 Khz. IF channel had an identical set of 3 switch selected crystal filters with the same bandwidths as 500 Khz. IF. These 3 175 Khz. IF channels were independent all the way thruogh to audio. They each had a meter displaying audio strength.
        5. There was one crystal controlled BFO at 175 Khz. that had a front panel trimmer to adjust it.
        6. It appears this unit was an SSB adapter. It was 3" high and rack mount.
                                        Thanks, Byron.
