[Milsurplus] BC-611 vibrator supply?

Marty, George, et al,

That is not a standard BC-611 bottom cover in the photo.  Something is 
attached to the bottom with all of those small round-head machine screws.  And there 
is a jack peering through one of the larger holes.  And what looks like a 
connector cover attached by the chain (similar to the one on the BC-721 bottom 
cover, except on the opposite side).

Also, seriesing two D-cells in the A-battery compartment will result in a 
tube heater life expectancy measured in mili-seconds.  Before I noticed the tag 
lead and plug, and the jack in the bottom cover, I was going to say more likely 
a single D-cell in the A-battery compartment and maybe four in the B.
