It may be that Consolidated Aircraft co. was exceedingly energetic about publishing
such aids, because they seem to still regularly appear. I don't really know that any
other manufacturer matched their effort in this area.
I have the B-24-O manual.  It specifies receiver BC-348-O, and i jumped to the 
conclusion that the receiver series suffix matches that of the airplane - i was
quickly disabused of that notion.  -Hue Miller
