Hi Glen,
In the early 70's our University of Western Ontario Ham Radio Club in
London, Ontario --- VE3UWO --- used to share quarters with the Electronics
Engineering Lab at the school Physics building...they had two whole banks
of SP-600's there, used as lab-grade equipment for the students...
I oft-times wonder whatever may have become of those old rigs.
We'd have KILLED for just one of them at the time, although I must admit I
was quite smitten with the Club's Heath Mohawk receiver --- it was light
years ahead of the Hallicrafters S-77A that I had at home!
