[Milsurplus] TMC GPR-90 - info request

Hi,
    Got a phone call from a good friend on the 'left-coast' [CA] that told 
me that while he
was at a house, inspecting same, he came across subject receiver in the 
garage.  The
lady of the house told him that at one time she was going to become a ham, 
but went
another direction and lost interest.  Anyway, when my friend asked her want 
did she
want for it, she said 'take it - it's yours'.  [Some people fall into all 
the goodies!!!].
Anyway, he called me and asked me what to do with it - and after I gave him 
a couple
of sites to check out what he got - [told him it was like a SP-600], he 
asked if he
should keep it, and restore it - which probably will never be done - or sell 
it.  If the
latter, he has no idea what would be a sensible asking price.  [FYI: He is 
an EE and
is more than able to restore it - in fact he is 'rebuilding my 30L-1 for 
me].  He says
that it appears in a very good condition - a couple of 'easy tubes are 
missing'.
Any thoughts that I can pass on to him?
