It would appear that the Bombarier/Navigator was also the radio operator in this varient of the B-45.

The empty mount appears to have had the upper tray part removed, leaving only the shock feet, making it hard to identify.  I don't think it is part of an T-47A/ART-13 mount, but maybe.  I'll have to dig out my MT-284/ART-13 and compare.

That's an R-65/APN-9 LORAN A unit to the left of the SCR-788 radar altimeter indicator, and the ADF control panel is for the R-101/ARN-6.

They sure did cram a bunch of stuff into this aircraft (an RB-45C) at the navigator position.  Maybe that's why on the RB-45C the co-pilot was the radio operator (according to at least one website).  Too bad there aren't any pictures of the co-pilot's position in the RB-45C.
