Officially, the RDO used TN-1B/APR-1 through TN-4B/APR-1, which collectively
tune from 38 to 4000 MC. In practice, it can use TU-56 through TU-59 (slight
mod required to the TU's), any revision of TN-1/APR-1 through TN-4/APR-1, and
any revision of TN-16/APR-4 through TN-19/APR-4 plus TU-54/APR-4.
The AN/APR-4 TN's cover the 38-4000 MC range in five bands instead of four.
The aircraft versions (set nomenclatures, not component) were ARC-1, SCR-587,
AN/APR-1 and AN/APR-4. Plus a variant (different antennae) of the AN/APR-1
was nomenclatured AN/SPR-1.
