We had them in the Navy in the mid-late '60s and I believe they were around
into the '80s. They are stable and made for 100% duty cycle. The only hastle
is you have to keep a box of 'hot' 12at7s (...or was it 12au7s???) for the
loop lock up in the synth chassis. Three phase power too. The WRT replaced
the SRT and ours were used with R1051s or R390As. Cost??? Army Radio Sales
wants about $1500...plus shipping from Greece ~8^o.
