[Milsurplus] TBY restoration dilemma

This model of TBY had the antenna brackets like two posts holding an old
car radio antenna, instead of the later adjustable swivel brown plastic
antenna base.  By all means use the worse of the two to restore the better
one, OR- hold off taking parts from for the other, and wait til you see 
another junker at a hamfest or Ebay. There are parts, and parts units
out there, but you have to be patient.
One of the nice things about the early model is you can work on this thing
to your heart's contentment, wash it, etc. with nary a care about flaking 
radium, there is none.
