[Milsurplus] TG-34 heart beating

[Unserviceable but Repairable]

Bur still in operating room

Motor twisting, tones ensuing, PE cell & trigger OK

OK within limits.  Will trip with finger passing between lamp & PE cell

Gess which finger?

But won't trigger on tape.  Have new bulb installed & orig. PE cell.
Plus orig. tubes which look unused

Why unused?  Motor died early because  wdg. wire near-broken @ build.*

So anyone have TG-34 rating on their ticket?  IE, are tapes so old
& yellowed they won't work no 'mo?

*found break by putting HB 2kv at 10ma across bad wdg. & looked for blue
 effect... right there where motor installer gashed 1 (of 4) coils
 on the nice 8-pole GI (gen'l industries) motah.  Fixed easy

 Electronics were horrible.  Open pot, all tubular oil bypasses bad, a
 1 meg R open.  Real horrible.
