My town recycling center added a dumpster for electronic equipment. You would be amazed how quickly it fills up especially with PC's, monitors and television sets.
I used to do some dumster diving looking for some old goodies as well as new
electronics (for parts), but the town stopped the practice. I asked why but did not
get a clear answer; someone mentioned liability issues. I'm curious if other municipalities allow dumster diving.
How does this pertain to Milsurplus? I once found some old mil transformers which included modulation transformers. Haven't spotted a R390 yet. My best find was an Atwater Kent receiver.
