Gess that was mine.

The %$#@ing 1A3 discriminator diode shorted in my rust-haze 1000A so 
had to slope-detect on FM - throwing tx freq. off.  Got delayed
talking to a bud & walked into Joe/WA4VAG crowd about 2:20 doing FM rx
only.  One guy helped getting tx on freq. & much praise then ensued about
1000 audio.

Dunno what happened to the great looking  BC-1000B owned by the KB8
'Jimmy' fella.   Was awol for foto session, wasn't he?
