It's hard to mistake that 142 lbm, 18 inch diameter drum...no other aircraft radio set is physically as distinctive as the RT-128A/ARC-21 or RT-400/ARC-65.  If it's a -65, then it's good for about 400 watts PEP, 2 to 24 mc in 0.5 kc intervals.

I thought the same thing when I first saw one at the avionics shop at a SAC base in 1970.  Turned out it had been upgraded to the APX-25.  The APX-25 was made from modified APX-6 units, with an external code keyer unit.  The RT units look the same except for an amphenol on the -25 panel that isn't on the -6 panel.
