Have put the question to a WW2 B-17 driver. Asked the following:
A question came up about the ARC-5 sets, SCR-522 and HF communications
while over Germany. I always thought primary strike reports were sent on
CW using the BC-375/BC-348. Am I correct? Also the question was asked
about the max range of the SCR-522 on VHF. Again I had thought it would be
very short and usually used for air traffic control around the
field. Please comment
