[Milsurplus] BC-611 MF vs low VHF

[Unserviceable but Repairable]

Could it be there were so many circulating that it was nothing but
hetrodyne city in crowded combat?  I know, I know - different units
allegedly crystalled 'em different.  But I bet most were just batteried-up
& run on the 3885 test xtals.

I've heard stories:

   - roads were paved with them

   - best use was as cudgel

   - 'n stuff
