[Milsurplus] PP-488A/GR

Was going through cataloging some new (to me) TM's and happened to spot 
something in Change 4, TM 11-5040, on PP-281, PP-282 and PP-488/GR (which I did not 
previously have).  The base and "A" models of PP-281 and PP-283 are 
interchangable (all output 135 VDC).  However, PP-488A/GR outputs 175 VDC for use in 
AN/URM-89 according to the Change.  PP-488/GR (for those who don't know or 
recall, this is the 6 VDC input vibrator power supply for R-108, R-109, R-110 and 
AM-65 (which runs RT-70)).  Why the idiots didn't call it something else, who 
knows.  PP-488's are at best "uncommon" on Dave's chart (I've only ever had 
two) and I've never seen the A model.  But if one turns up, don't put it into 
your aux receiver or AM-65.
