George,

I suspect that you're correct on the nomenclature, but I only have the 
manuals on TS-497A/URR and TS-497B,C/URR.  The only thing on LOGSA is the -12P.  
Reading between the lines in the -12P, the TS-497/URR may have been a Model 80 
with a new nameplate, as the parts list only lists TM's for the A,B,C models 
(which have miniature tubes except in the power supply section) but lists 12SL7, 
12SN7 and 6V6 tubes on one page.

The manual for TS-497A/URR is TM 11-5030 but I don't know how applicable it 
would be to the base model.  Unless Measurements made later versions for the 
civilian market as well.  The front panel, aside from being gray, is very 
similar to what I remember the Model 80 as looking like.
