When I was out there in September of 2003, there was a PT Boat just
above Pearson Field in Vancouver (across the river from Portland) on
one of the side streets of the old base. Wonder if it was this one, or
another? Sure looked sad. If it's a different boat, I hope someone
saves it as well. Those old films of the PT boats being burned after
the war are seared into my memory.
