Thanks very much. The brief descriptions are a whole lot better than having to
read through the manual. BTW, the URL is for page 11. The BC-221* listings are
continues in Part 12 (just change the 11 to 12 in the URL above)

While on the topic, thanks for all the answers I've received.

The answer to my basic question, what is the difference between the SCR-211 (221
was my typo) and the BC-221 is that the former is the latter, with accessories
like headphones and case. Thanks for the info.

Also, it appears that the only AC line powered versions were the Navy LM series.
