I don't have an answer. I think I have one of the ARC-33 controls in storage, and I have an AN/ARC-33 manual somewhere. I'll have to look for myself.

(OT Comment: I'm getting wary of making copies of manuals anymore. I've gone to some time and trouble this past year to make copies of six different tech manuals for six different people, with double-sided pages and one-piece full-size oversized foldouts made on a special scanner-printer, and sent by priority mail. I suggested *only* that the cost of mailing be re-imbursed. In most cases I've not received even an e-mailed acknowledgement from the recipient afterwards. Sad.)

Speaking of oddball UHF sets, what about the early-version AN/ASQ-19 UHF receiver-transmitters that are showing up on ebay recently? Open one up and it appears to be a re-packaged AN/ARC-52 design, using mostly the same modules. (Use caution when bidding on anything like this from a well-known Kissimmee FL ebay seller unless you want to wait four months for shipment...today I just got my last (and I do mean LAST) item from them. It had been paid for in early November!)
