We were shown how to wrap a shorted turn around the end of the cigarette,
draw an arc then puff like hell. And we would catch hell if we broke tha
magnatron.
But you could only pull this stunt in the classroom. There was no smoking on
the flightline and we used dummy loads in the shop.
I remember one evening at Langly where we drove the maintenance guy changing
floresents in the hanger nuts. He freaked when the tubes he was carring lit
up.
