If the lockdown at Normandy was for presidential security, I wonder what would have been the security perimeter with today's posture for POTUS security?
Pennsylvania Avenue is closed around the White House, probably forever.
Metal detectors to enter most Federal buildings. Even employees in our building have their bags x-rayed.
