Hi Rob and the gang,
It turns out that there are three pieces of equipment that employ the O1A /
VT-30 listed in TO 08-1-25, Vaccum Tube Complements of Signal Equipment and
Test Data, dated 04 October 1944. All are originally commercial test
equipment (no. of tubes in parens):
Hickok Model 467 (1 ea.)
Model 685 Type 2 Tube Checker (I-56-A) (1 ea.). The manufacturer of the
Model 685 is not listed (does anyone know?). It was a component of I-56-A
test set.
Triplett Model 1210-A (1 ea.)
Looks like the kind of stuff that would be found in many service shops.
